Maria Santiago-Valentín

In April, 2017, she organized the New Jersey’s People Climate Rally at Warinanco Park. One result of which was that Ms. Santiago founded the New Jersey Coalition of Climate Justice on April 29,2017. She also currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Environmental Justice Committee of Sierra Club in New Jersey, and has served on the Organizing for Action Climate Change Issue Team from 2012 until 2019.

James Carsey

James Carsey Chef | Writer | Environmentalist Besides working in Cafés and food venues throughout New York James owns a small business that teaches children of all ages how to cook and bake. He enjoys nature photography and hiking. James holds a Master’s Degree of Science in Protection Management from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and is a member of the Climate Reality Leadership Corps. Adriana Scott

She is a bilingual and ESL teacher at the Texas Serenity Academy in Houston, TX.  In addition, Adriana is a graphic artist and musician.  She sang several of the parts of the NJCCJ hymn and engineered the recording on her computer.
